23.01.2022 Does your fridge need a freshen up? Over time fridges, no matter how clean they are kept develop that stale, off plastic smell that can be really unpleasant. Air fresheners, and deodorants only make it worse, and may taint your food. There is a really simple solution to the problem...simply sprinkle some bicarb soda on a saucer and put it in the bottom of your fridge or freezer and leave it there for a day or so before removing the saucer.... 21.01.2022 Rainy day productivity idea 1. Remove the filters from the hood 2. Fill a sink with boiling water, baking soda and dish soap 3. Submerge greasy filters in water... 4. Scrub the filters 5. Place into dishwasher on a hot cycle 6. Allow to dry fully If you frequently cook on your stovetop you might wish to change your filter every six months. 16.01.2022 One Pot Creamy Vegetable Pasta Ingredients: 2 cups Vegetable Liquid Stock 1 leek quartered finely sliced... 200g mushrooms thickly sliced 375g spaghetti broken in half 3 garlic cloves thinly sliced 1 tsp salt 1 cup frozen peas 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 1/4 cup parmesan cheese *to serve *extra 1/2 cup thickened cream 100g baby spinach Method: Place stock, leek, mushrooms, spaghetti, garlic, salt and 2 cups water in a deep large saucepan.Bring to the boil for 6 minutes, stirring very often. Add peas, parmesan and cream. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring, or until pasta is cooked and liquid is mostly evaporated. Remove from heat and stand for 2 minutes for sauce to thicken a little more. Stir through spinach until just wilted. Season with pepper and serve with extra parmesan if you like. See more

03.01.2022 How to clean an oven in under 15 minutes To clean your oven you will need: Oven cleaner solution Dishwashing liquid... Spatula Oven degreaser Moist sponge Toothbrush Microfibre cloth Gloves 1. Remove all shelving and soak in hot water and oven cleaner solution 2. Scrape the excess debris and grease with a spatula. Then spray the inside with oven degreaser and leave for 15mins to work its magic. 3. Once the food debris begins to lift, take a moist sponge and wash the inside of the oven thoroughly! 4.If the residue is difficult to remove, you can spray the oven and leave the detergent for a longer time. Leave it overnight or for at least eight hours. 5. Following a good spray of oven cleaner, wipe the oven door with a microfibre cloth. 6. Either remove your knobs or use a toothbrush to get into those hard to reach areas. 7. You can use the oven right after you clean it.
