17.01.2022 Happy National Ag Day! We have students from Dowerin DHS and Wyalkatchem DHS visiting us today. They have spent the day in our Trades workshops, trying their hands in the Furnishing & Engineering workshops. Prior to lunch, they went on a tour of our farm where they saw the the day old piglets and Bruce the boar in the piggery, watched Mr Laird shear a sheep in the shearing shed and a quick visit in the butcher shop to try a sample of cheese sausage.... I’m sure they will all have many stories to tell about the day and we hope we may see them here as students in the future. #NationalAgDay Public education in Western Australia

07.01.2022 This year we farewelled two of our Ag Advisory Committee members after several years of service to the College. Cunderdin farmer Chris Syme joined the committee in February 1991 and has been one of its longest standing members. During his time on the committee Chris has represented the College on the Combined Agricultural Advisory Committee and he has also been an Advisory Committee representative on the College Board. Chris has sold his farm and is retiring to Perth early ne...xt year. He said it had been a pleasure to be part of a College that is leading the field in educating young people for their future careers in Agriculture. Beverley farmer Deane Aynsley also retired from the committee earlier this year after 8 years of service. Mr Aynsley said it was clear that the educational outcomes offered by a school like Cunderdin Ag College were very highly sought after, and the broader agricultural industry was very lucky to have a top level training institutions such as the College, from which to source well qualified graduates.
