22.01.2022 Last night we were excited to be the first in Australia to view the movie Warrior Women featuring Madonna Thunderhawk and Marcelle Gilbert and had the opportunity to zoom with Madonna, Marcella and filmmaker Beth Castle. What a deep conversation on leadership, activism and overcoming issues facing the Indigenous community. It was incredible to reflect on the similarities across two Indigenous cultures half a world apart. It was a very special night with representatives fro...m nearly all Yorga Djenna Bidi cohorts and both our Emerging Aboriginal Leaders Programs. Beautiful to share the night with Patron Elizabeth Hayden. Thank you to Kezia Jacobs-Smith for having the vision to make this happen. We can’t wait to see what future opportunities come as a result. Thank you Murdoch University for hosting us and Bindi Bindi Dreaming for the feed See more
