23.01.2022 For the coaches out there. We are getting a bit of rain lately.

23.01.2022 EFFECTIVE TRAINING SESSION: THE BATTLEZONE Here is a planned session with Albany & Districts Cricket Association u14 Country Week squads yesterday afternoon. Batting pairs have 18 balls from the bowling machine to score as many singles from good lengths balls. ... Ball can’t leave the coned square (pictured) and fielders must start outside the square until ball is released. Minus 1 if ball is hit outside the square Minus 3 if run out of dismissed Batting pairs then had a 2nd innings to learn. The Outcome? Players developed their skills in playing the ball late with soft hands and turning good balls into scoring opportunities. Greater game sense and communication between batters and fielders developed rapidly as the session went. They solved the problem and thrived doing so. Thanks to our Country Coach and Talent Specialist Job Van Bunge for leading the session.
