15.01.2022 Mandarins are a super snack - easy to peel and super delicious. Only problem is its hard to stop at just ONE!

15.01.2022 Afternoon tea time? Lemon Hazelnut slice - Crust 1 cup plain flour... 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces 1/4 cup chopped toasted hazelnuts Topping 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon minced lemon zest 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt For crust: Preheat oven to 350F. Line 20cm square baking pan with baking paper. Mix flour, sugar and salt in processor. Add butter and nuts and blend until fine meal forms. Press onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake until light brown around edges, about 18 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare topping Blend topping ingredients in processor. Pour onto hot crust. Bake until filling begins to brown at edges and is just springy to touch, about 20 minutes. Cool completely in pan on rack. Lift from pan. Cut dessert into 16 squares. Top with a sprinkle of icing sugar before serving at room temperature. See more

04.01.2022 ‘Tis the season for the Midknight Oranges! Have you seen them at your local store??? If so, you might have noticed that they are smaller in size.. BUT don’...t be fooled because they’re: BIG on vitamins BIG on energy LOW on seeds Just make sure that if you’re using them in a recipe, you use 3 4 Midknight oranges if it calls for 2 to 3 Navels oranges. Our Moora Citrus Midknight Oranges are grown right here in WA, which is a long way from where they originated from back in the day (1927 in fact), in South Africa. It was mister A.P. Knight who was the first to spot them, which is where they got their name from. Anywho, make sure you grab some on your next trip to the shops and let us know what you think! Northen Valley Packers Export packing and sales team this week celebrated the loading of the 100th container of export citrus for the 2020 season destined for overseas markets. This is a milestone the company is celebrating and still more to go before years end. Great job guys!
