20.01.2022 Climate change time has run out. People must vote out politicians who are deniers. Isn't a healthy planet the most important thing we all must teach our children?

19.01.2022 The bush fire crisis can only be dealt with by real systemic action on climate change by accepting Julia Gillard and Malcolm Turnbull were right and by quickly implementing a price on carbon, so the whole world's economy moves away from fossil fuels. We must ensure cleaner, renewable technologies and new employment opportunities of the future are created much sooner via this core initiative of pricing carbon out of the world's economy. This is the best use of federal government millions, if not billions. We're already more than 20 years behind. 05.01.2022 Email letter to Elon Musk and Tesla. From: Waddington Sent: Tuesday, 20 August 2019 10:35 AM To: 'Tesla' ... Subject: RE: Meet Model S Importance: High Waddington Educational Resources Pty Ltd 11 Walsh Avenue STRATHALBYN SA 5255 08 85368000 wadd.com.au . Dear CEO Elon Musk and Tesla Management, Thank you for your marketing information, including emails I am receiving for the Model 3, but they are not what I had hoped for. Disappointing to be very honest. All your cars are simply TOO EXPENSIVE. If your Model 3 was priced near that of other new cars, I’d buy one today because I have been saving up for a new car and have vowed it will be fully electric. But to pay over $70,000 for a new car is simply ridiculous. I’ve only ever bought one new car in all my 59 years (a $25,000 2003 family focused Toyota Corolla hatch) and for the last 6 years we’ve been driving a second-hand $12,000 2008 Toyota Prius the best and most economical car I’ve ever had to date. If you really want to take charge of the automobile marketplace and you are genuine in your belief that the world needs what you are producing, then your cars would be priced accordingly, so average buyers like me can actually afford to buy one. I thought a Tesla car was going to be a game-changer when it came to Australia, but not at double and triple the price of other new cars. I must say I’m very sad and disillusioned that your Model 3, pitched at the regular car buyer, is not at all what I was led to believe years ago when I was first introduced to it at one of your shopping mall display booths. To be honest, the Model 3 should be priced under $50,000 to really make its mark. Any more and I feel as though you’re out to price gouge. Moreover, I believe you have simply not done your research about what the vast majority of new car buyers in Australia can afford (even at a stretch) and especially during a down-turn in the economy. It’s a great pity that the price of your cars does not match the reasons why you build them, promote them and attach the name Tesla to them, in particular the Model 3. As I’m from the State of South Australia, where I have based my company for more than 30 years, we thoroughly stand for renewables and saving our planet, not at great cost to our customers but at extra goodwill and personal cost to the way we do business because this is what I truly believe and stand for, not something which is blatantly passed on to our customers in the form of crazy high prices. I hope this email registers with you and your senior management and we see a huge drop in the Australian price for the Model 3. Will you get the price down to something far more reasonable? Kind regards, Neil Waddington
