15.01.2022 BUDDY BENCHES ARE HERE!! Earlier in the year we approached 3 local LGPS family's businesses to sponsor 3 'Buddy Benches' for our school and they all instantly s...aid YES! A 'Buddy Bench' is a special place. A place where you can sit if you don't have someone to play with. This will signal to others to engage play or if a more than one child is sitting on the bench then that can initiate play & friendship!! The 3 buddy benches are placed in 3 different areas of the school to allow all age groups to facilitate the idea. One in the junior area, one near the west side of the oval and one to the east of the oval. These wouldn't have been possible without the very kind and generous donation of our three major sponsors; KDS BUILDING SERVICES - Ken and Deb Smith ALBANY NEWS DELIVERY - Joanne Marshall & Ross Wegner WADE MARSHALL PLUMBING - Wade & Jess Marshall an EXTRA MASSIVE THANKS to KEN SMITH and his team at KDS for the additional donation of timber & their time in constructing!! We very much look forward to the students grasping the concept and putting them to use!!! We can't wait to see how you decorate them!! WELL DONE LITTLE GROVE!!!!
