While this is good news for workers having their wages stolen or being underpaid, it's important to note that there are industry groups taking part in Federal "working groups", where they will be representing employer interests to legislate a reduction in wages, penalties and entitlements. Should workers have the right to know if their employer pays industry groups to lobby the government for lower wages, fewer workers' rights and ...reduced entitlements? Right now, membership lists of some lobby groups like AI Group are a secret. Even if you think you're being paid properly, take lots of diary notes about time worked, time paid, and the tasks you've done .
