19.01.2022 The come and try day held yesterday was hampered by bad weather, but 8 hardy soles turned up. It was also a members fun run day, so there were steam and diesel trains running around the track, and visitors could hope on and have a ride. Overall the day was a success as 3 membership forms were taken and we had two Canberra members in attendance.

05.01.2022 Overnight last night, the Willans Hill Miniature Railway suffered a massive graffity attack. The rubbish on and in the tunnel is repairable but spraying the natural rocks around the track is absolutely anti social. The Wagga Wagga Society of Model Engineers volunteer members who look after the Willans Hill track are absolutely fed up with cleaning off this muck. The Police have been informed and know who you are from your tags. Anyone who may be able to assist with their enq...uiries, please contact the Wagga Police. It is very disheartening that the members work so hard to keep the area in a pristine condition only to come the day after our working bee to find graffiti over our beautiful mural and the adjacent rock walls as well as our 12 metre container, that will most likely have to be repainted. More costs to the club and precious time taken away from maintenance. See more

04.01.2022 This weekend, the 5th & 6th November, we have our 28 th Invitation Run. There will be engines and other models from the eastern states of Australia. The public will be able to view the models from outside the fence on Saturday and will be taken around the new spiral by the visitors trains on Sunday.

04.01.2022 Hi all, Just to advise followers and interested parties, that at the recent AALS Convention in Bunbury WA, our Vice President Eric Hill won the prestigious Boulton Trophy for the best Australian prototype locomotive in attendance at the Convention with his "Bundy 5" steam engine. Congratulations Eric.

03.01.2022 Another video share by a member.

03.01.2022 Hi all! At last the Wagga Wagga Society of Model Engineers have completed the spiral track. The last welds were done just before lunch time today. Still a lot of ancillary work and testing to be done before our sub club Willans Hill Miniature Railway can take passengers on the spiral. Those workers present on site today did a number of laps around the spiral.

01.01.2022 Below is a photo of the presentation of a cheque for $4,500 presented to Ronald McDonald House, Wagga Wagga, which was raised at our twilight run. There is also a photo of the half gate at the end of the ramp leading to the station to help with orderly progress onto the station.
