23.01.2022 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be wi...lling to support those around us. You don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before they’re in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life. Head to https://www.ruok.org.au/join-r-u-ok-day to find out more.

18.01.2022 The Monaro Yard Dog Club recently had the honour of giving donations to two very worthy causes. This was made possible by the generous support of our local spon...sors and through our Snowy Mountains Yard Dog Trial entry fees. $500 was donated to the Coffin Siris Syndrome Foundation on behalf of Dave and Natalie Kelly and their son Declan from Jindabyne, Dave is the founder of the Foundation and $500 went to Matthew and Fiona Hedger and their daughter Kyla from Berridale. Both of these families have young children suffering from rare conditions and we hope this may go to towards making a positive difference in their lives. Giving back to the community has been a goal of the Club and we are extremely grateful to all of our sponsors who have helped to make this happen: Monaro Livestock and Property Berridale Inn McGrath Cooma Abbey Animal Health Snowy Plain/Snow Vale Poll Merino Studs Kosciuszko Automotive Nutrien Ag Solutions Cottage Park Merino Stud Jindabyne Mitre 10 High Country Automotive Group Monaro Wool Services Caltex Jindabyne Jindabyne Water Supplies Snowy Mountains Plumbing Cooma Rural Monbeef Jindabyne Butchery Boller and Co Brittons Sand and Concrete South East Rural Shell Region Service Station Cooma Elders Cooma Tyre Power Jindabyne Thompson’s Transport And special thanks to Wollondibby Pastoral Company for the use of their sheep

01.01.2022 Rain, hail or shine we will be going ahead with our dog training clinic this Saturday the 15th of August. Thanks to Boggy Creek Shows, we have been provided wit...h a great undercover facility to run this event. To get there, look for the Boggy Creek Shows sign on a water tank about 13kms north of Tumbarumba on the Wagga road and follow the signs from there down Maginnitys Gap road and then left onto Boggy Creek Road. We do have one training position available now so if you are interested either message this page or call Harry or Jacinta. Fence sitters are welcome on the day for $50 and for this you also get fed for the day. There are also camping facilities if you need to roll out a swag and BYO alcohol if you want to have a few drinks after. We would like people to be there around 8am to sign in so we are in compliance with covid policies and to have a cuppa. We hope to see you there for what will be a great day of learning how to give your dogs a great start thanks to Ben Coster at Wandabar Stockdogs
