25.01.2022 Congratulations to Wagga’s own Dylan Martin for his selection in the 2021 Kookaburras squad. Dylan your Wagga hockey family are very proud of you and equally you should be very proud of your achievements as you have worked very hard for this moment-awesome achievement.

25.01.2022 This morning in conjunction with Council and Polytan (contractor) a handover of the new Paul Turf was completed. The field is now technically completed however before training can begin the water guns will require a full maintenance and the water program will need to be reset to cater for the new surface. We will keep you posted.

24.01.2022 Please Note that the 2021 Hockey NSW Over 34s & Over 65s Men Masters has had a venue change! The tournament will now take place at Wyong Hockey Complex hosted b...y Central Coast Hockey instead of Nepean's Western Sydney University fields. The date remains the same as before - Friday 26th til Sunday 28th March 2021.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to former Wagga player Jocelyn Bartram on her selection in the Hockeyroos 2021 squad.

21.01.2022 Congratulation to all WWCHA members, we have recently been advised that we have achieved Level 3 accreditation for the Good Sports Program, We could have only achieved this through your support of the key principles of the program.

21.01.2022 Let’s nominate we have a lot of awesome people helping our association.

21.01.2022 Over night we experienced a break in at our fields. The individuals involved decided that it would be a good idea to grab heaps of glue that is used to glue the new surface and throw it randomly across the newly laid surface on Paul field. They then tried to wash the glue off their hands using the new bottle filling station with the result that the station is covered in glue, which now has to be removed carefully. We now have to wait for the glue to dry before it can be slo...wly removed from the new surface. In addition they broke into the fridge used by our contractors and proceeded to trash the middle dugout. Matter has been reported to police and Council is viewing the CCTV to identify any individuals involved. We will also be sharing this incident with the media tomorrow. Very disappointing but hopefully we will be able to identify who was involved.

21.01.2022 This week is National Unity Week where we celebrate the diversity of our communities and the valuable contributions of people of all backgrounds. Hockey NSW is ...proud to have a wonderfully diverse community of players and supporters right around the State, and we commit to working hard to ensure that we create an environment that is safe, welcoming and fair for all. #PlayTogether #TogetherWeRise See more

21.01.2022 Thanks Dylan for everything.

21.01.2022 We thought this was worth sharing-Thank you Prime 7 for your support.

20.01.2022 With the latest COVID-19 outbreak on the Northern Beaches, Hockey NSW would like to remind participants that are currently playing in summer or indoor competiti...ons around NSW to be mindful of the health protocols and recommendations in place at venues. Please remember to: - Keep socially distanced (1.5 metres) when required. - Avoid sharing equipment and wash your hands regularly. - Check in at all venues to assist with contact tracing if required. - Stay home if you're sick or have flu-like symptoms. In order to keep hockey safe and ensure everyone remains out on the field, please help us by doing your part.

The app is available in both Apple and Android versions. ... We recommend all club coaches and officials download the app and have it as part of their player support and should be used whenever any player suffers a head injury when playing. The Board WWCHA

14.01.2022 As 2020 comes to an end, we wanted to take a look back at some of the highlights we had during a difficult year. In February, we held our largest ever Regional ...Challenge in Bathurst. Over 1000 players from every corner of NSW came together for a terrific long weekend packed full of hockey. The carnival would be the last major event on the Hockey NSW calendar for the year, and we were thankful it was able to be run normally before major restrictions were imposed. We want to see your photos and videos from the weekend! Post them in the comments below

12.01.2022 As we have previously advised following the AGM held in November 2020 we are still yet to fill the following positions: . Treasurer . Events Manager... These positions are critical to the running of the association and both these positions will need to be filled asap. We would ask all members to consider nominating for one of these positions, it is a great opportunity to be part of the future for Wagga Hockey. If we do not fill the Treasurer position, then we will have to consider outsourcing the role, which will add an additional cost to our playing fees. Please contact Ken Larkin if you would like additional information regarding these 2 roles.
