11.01.2022 It’s game day! Well, not quite. Due to the pandemic today’s planned NRL match between Canberra Raiders and Newcastle was postponed a few weeks ago. That hasn’t ...stopped Council staff maintaining our grounds around the city, and work at McDonald’s Park this week has the facility looking an absolute treat for what would have been a huge game and sell-out crowd today. Improvements at the ground have also been completed in partnership with Wagga Rugby League. When this is all behind us, we can look forward to the Raiders being back in Wagga next year with the current agreement rolled over to 2021.
