15.01.2022 MEET OUR TEAM JANE Swimming Instructor Jane has just clocked up 8 years with Wagga Swim School.... Originally employed for Renae’s short maternity leave position, she was so valued that we just could not let her go. I don’t think that we have come across a child or parent that does not love Jane. She makes each child feel safe and is known for her ability to nurture a timid and unsure child to become comfortable and water safe. Jane is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills. She is trained to teach babies right through to our squad levels and boy is she good at it all. Jane always brings a smile into the pool and nothing is ever an issue for her. When asked what she loves about her role at Wagga Swim SchoolJane said that teaching children a life skill is just SO rewarding. Outside of the pool JaneJane is enjoying working on her Body Shop at Home business. She loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, taking on new projects around her home and garden as well as taking coastal holidays with her family.

15.01.2022 Over the years we have heard so many parents concerns over our old pool's layout for smaller, not water safe children and children at the entry level of Learn to Stroke. The curved bottom made it hard to stabilise platforms which meant that the step area was often congested. Although we do have complete faith in our fantastic instructors, we have thought long and hard about designing the new pool so it can be suited to all ages that we teach. ... #theroadback #weloveswimming #wemissyouall #smallbusiness

Bec has extensive knowledge in every aspect of the business and loves nothing more than to welcome our families each week. Bec is a people person and her kindness and patience goes a long way when children are hesitant to enter the water. With over 10 years’ experience, Bec has an absolute passion for the industry and strives to ensure that our customers have a wonderful experience. When asked about what she loves about her role at Wagga Swim SchoolBec said that she loves that so many of our instructors have been with us for so long. They adapt and take new instructors under their wing, train them and pass on their love and expertise. She also enjoys seeing children come to us from babies and progress right through our Levels. Bec is also one of our AQUA AEROBICS instructors and looks forward to getting you all back into the water. Outside of the pool Bec loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys coaching her daughters sporting teams and helping at her children’s school. 14.01.2022 MEET OUR TEAM LAURA Swimming Instructor Laura has been with Wagga Swim School for 3 years. ... Laura has the gift of being able to bring quiet children out of their shell to reach their full potential. I will forever be grateful to Laura for achieving this with my own son (Bec) Laura is loud, bubbly and makes each child feel special. She knows how to work on a child’s strengths to build their confidence and can easily adapt her teaching style to suit any situation. Laura is highly skilled with all swimming levels but has a huge passion for coaching. Each child is always greeted with a big smile and hello and this personal approach is always notice by the parents. When asked what she loves about her role at Wagga Swim SchoolLaura said that she loves teaching kids a skill that is going to stay with them for their life. Watching them grow in confidence every lesson is so very rewarding for both myself and the child. Outside of the pool Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends. All of our instructors teach the same program to create consistency and you will see all of the same amazing faces when we re open. We are family owned and run and will continue to work day and night to ensure that you all get the best possible environment for your children. She is a perfectionist and goes above and beyond to ensure that each child performs correct technique and learn new skills the right way. Liz is amazing with her classes and her laid back, calm nature makes her a popular choice with parents and children of all ages. Liz is loyal and caring and is one of our many team members that stood up and assisted us during some very trying times this year. When asked what she loves about her role at Wagga Swim School Liz said that she just loves seeing a child’s face light up when they master a new skill. Outside of the pool Liz enjoys reading, music, playing trivia, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
