11.01.2022 A brief update on where we are for 2020 - Still looking to settle a date for the John Woodman, likely to be at the end of winter or early spring. We want to avoid big clashes of race dates, in NSW and Victoria. Stay tuned!

08.01.2022 Sad announcement about this year's Wagga-Albury: we have to cancel. Please read below the statement from the club committee: "The General Committee of Albury Wodonga Cycling Club, at its regular monthly meeting of 10 August 2020, has made the decision to cancel the John Woodman Memorial Wagga-Albury Cycling Classic for this year. We made this decision with regret, but see this as a temporary matter, for we look forward to the race appearing on the calendar again in 2021.... There are two reasons that led to this decision. Firstly, it is far from certain that the race will be permitted, as the authorities seeking to reduce the spread of Covid-19 make regular updates to regulations on public events. Secondly, even if the race were to run, we suspect the number of entrants would be too few to cover costs."
