25.01.2022 THURSDAY GAMES CANCELLED: due to smoke haze and extreme temperatures, we have decided to cancel all games this week. We will endeavour to play a catch up round after Christmas if the facilities remain available. Managers will be notified and are asked to please pass this message on to all players. We will resume again on the 28th January. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Christmas and New Years. Stay cool!

23.01.2022 Team cash payments for the upcoming season can be made by dropping them into Hair On Docker during the following times: Thursday 10am - 7pm, Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 8:30am - 1pm or... Maher Oval this Monday 16th November from 6pm - 7pm Alternatively, direct deposit is a preferred option.

20.01.2022 IMPORTANT: Tonight’s Games Cancelled Due to abnormally high readings on the Air Quality Index, and for the safety of all players we have made the difficult decision to cancel all games tonight. This smoke haze in combination with the forecast high temperatures make for unsuitable playing conditions. FNSW have also issued warnings about proceeding with strenuous outdoor activities. 20.01.2022 A fresh coat of paint for the new season, we are getting pretty close now. Get the regos done and get excited!

19.01.2022 We are back!!! Excitingly Wagga Twilight Soccer will return for season 2020-21. There will be a few small tweaks in order for us to run safely and comply with Covid regulations, details of these changes will disclosed at a later date. Key points: * season commences November 17th and concludes 4th March 2021 (break for school hols)... * Games will remain at Maher oval on a Tuesday and Thursday night * Timeslots include: 6pm Tuesday - open social division 7pm Tuesday - division 1 (NEW) 6pm Thursday - open social division 7pm Thursday - mixed (max 4 males on field at any time) * Team registrations have been set at $750 for a squad of up to 10 Teams from last season have been emailed information and have been given priority to re-book a timeslot. After 7th October, positions will be opened to the public for remaining spots. You can register your interest by emailing [email protected] or messaging 0405 225163 Get excited, we hope to see you all back for summer soccer again!

17.01.2022 And that’s a wrap for the Tuesday comps! Congratulations to The Gissing 6 who took out the 6pm timeslot and to the Screaming Eagles who were again crowned winners in the 6:50. A huge thankyou to all teams who participated this year, we hope to see you all back again next season.

16.01.2022 Registrations are now open to the public! Many of the timeslots have been filled by returning teams but there are places remaining in the following: 6pm Tuesday (social) 6 available... 7pm Tuesday (1st division) 2 available 6pm Thursday (social) 5 available 7pm Thursday (mixed) 2 available (max 4 males on field at any one time) If you have a team of up to 10 and would be interested in joining the competition, please email us at [email protected] or message on 0405 225163 Games this year will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Maher Oval. The 6:00pm games will be an open social competition on both nights. The Tuesday 7:00pm time will be the new Division 1, in place specifically for the stronger teams that are looking to extend themselves. Note: We reserve the right to move teams into this division if they have been historically a stronger side or are composed of primarily first and second grade players. The Thursday 7:00pm games will remain a mixed competition. Get in quick before we fill up, there are only a couple of spots left in the mixed and first grade divisions! Spread the word, first round kicks off on 17th November. Registration forms will be emailed out next week.

16.01.2022 Ladders and results after 8 rounds. Tight at the top in all comps with only one team locked into a grand final at this stage! Good luck to everyone this week.

15.01.2022 Results and ladders at the end of round 6 (amended). People have been asking about the catch up round we lost due to smoke. At the conclusion of round 7, we are gong to play the catch up round (11th and 13th Feb). From there, the 8 team competitions will be split into two divisions for a mini finals series. The 6pm Tuesday comp will continue to play each other for a second time. This will extend the competition by a week so the last games will be the 3rd and 5th of March. Please let us know if any teams have an issue with this.

11.01.2022 Unfortunately we have had a team pull out of the 7pm Thursday mixed competition. The draw has amended and the bye has now been removed from this competition. Teams will now play each other once before breaking into a 4 team "World Cup" style finals series contested between the top 4 and bottom 4 teams for the lat 3 rounds. Apologies for the late notice.

08.01.2022 Last games played were played tonight officially wrapping up proceedings for season 2019/20. Congratulations to Unity FC - Shingal who won the 6pm going all season undefeated. Two in a row for these guys! Well done also to Keithy’s Krew who went back to back winning the 6:50pm mixed.... A massive thankyou to all teams who participated. To the new faces and to the regulars, you continue to make this competition a roaring success and we hope this trend continues for many more years. To the guys and girls that stuck around to help pack up the fields, we are extremely grateful for your services and thank you dearly. We trust everyone has had a bit of fun and maybe picked up a little fitness heading into the winter comps. Stay close to this page for details later in the year on the new season of twilight soccer. 08.01.2022 Draws are attached for the next couple of weeks. For teams in the 6:50pm Tues and the Thursday comps, the remaining three rounds will be done after the conclusion of round 7. This will be based on ladder position at that time. Note: updated ladders posted soon!

06.01.2022 Soccer is still on tonight! Players are asked to be mindful of the conditions and go a bit easier tonight, remember it’s a social competition. Extra drinks breaks will be taken every 10 mins. Please remember hats, sunscreen and plenty of water!!

05.01.2022 And that's a wrap!! Congratulations to our winners of the Thursday night competitions. Owls Owls Red Devils were victorious over Fake Madrid in the 6pm, and Keithy's Krew made it a 3-peat with victory in the tightly contested mixed comp. 03.01.2022 Congratulations to our grand final winners tonight. Yakidkhan were victors in the final of the 6pm comp with a hard fought victory against The Lightning. In the 7pm competition, Legends FC ran out winners against a brave Lions FC team. Both games were played in great spirits and all players should be commended for this. Many thanks to all teams that participated in our Tuesday comps, we hope to see you all back next year.

02.01.2022 Draws for rounds 8-10 The top four teams in the 8 team competitions will now play a mini finals series where the winners will be the teams who finish top after a World Cup group system has been played. The Tuesday 6pm winner will be the team on top of the ladder after everyone has played each other twice. In the interest of fairness and sportsmanship, teams from this point on are asked only to field players that are registered to their team.
