19.01.2022 Last Thursday, Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc hosted a very interesting evening about platypuses (or is it platypii???) . Geoff Williams from the Australian Platypus Conservancy gave a rundown on the key findings from YACTAC's recent platypus report and Dr Joanne Connolly, CSU-Wagga talked about her local research on platypus. Both stressed how important it is to protect and look after our environment to protect the platypuses habitat. #murrumbidgeelandcareinc

08.01.2022 A great walk last Sunday at Flowerdale Lagoon. We saw all sorts of birds, including some not frequently seen at the Lagoon like quails and nesting striated pardalotes. There was a good combined bird knowledge amongst the group members and it was a fun morning. The birds really put on a show for us. There were nesting willie wagtails, duelling honeyeaters, trawling spoonbills and frolicking firetail finches. Stay tuned for details of next month's activity.

08.01.2022 Come and join Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare to get your tree planting fix with Wagga's chapter of Ozfish at Lake Albert Wagga on Sat 19th June at 9am. See below for more detail and to register.
