23.01.2022 So exciting!! The new Junior School Building (known as Q Block and currently home to 1J, 1B, 2J and 2S) is entered in the NSW Country Division Architecture Awards. We can all cast a vote to help it's chances of winning the People's Choice award. The result of collaboration between Head of Junior School Jane Greenlees and her 2IC, Dawn Poulos, GPG Architects together with Mark Golden & Associates, created a series of inspirational learning spaces which embrace light and a connection between the outside and inside environments. The teachers and students feel blessed with the provision of such a wonderful classroom environment. Have your vote today by clicking the link below. It is a simple one step process. https://nationalarchitecture.awardsplatform.com//vote/Nmze #gpgarchitecture #nationalarchitectureawards #reggioemilia

23.01.2022 Science, technology, engineering and maths theory were put into practice on Friday for Year 8 students. Congratulations to Zac, Rose and Elsie for taking out line honours.

23.01.2022 The past week saw the HSC exams for 2020 come to a close. Well done to all the Year 12 students who persisted through the unexpected twists and turns of 2020. School Captains, Chris Van Honk and Sophie Hutchinson, were two of four students sitting for an exam on the final day. Once pens were down on their Design and Technology paper there was obvious relief on the students' faces! It is finished! Congratulations! The Daily Advertiser caught up with Chris and Sophie - see link to article below.

20.01.2022 Farewell old friends! Final goodbyes were said as the College steers were loaded onto the truck heading for Yea, Victoria. With Royal Melbourne Show no longer on the calendar for 2020 the work that the students have undertaken breaking in and caring for the cattle is still being judged. Virtual leading competitions - where videos of students leading the animals, have been submitted and now just the cattle are on the way for the Hoof and Hook competition. Well done to all involved.

09.01.2022 Essential life skills! Year 7 have been hard at work in the kitchen this term developing, testing and recording recipes. Each student contributed to a series of cookbooks which were printed and published as a memory of a great year in Mandatory Technology. Not only did the students cook and taste each recipe, they styled the plates and photographed the results ready for compilation of the cook books. What a great resource for their home kitchen.
