22.01.2022 We had a fun night out with Woody Primary School last night on our nightstalk. Unfortunately not much in the way of wildlife was seen, but was a lovely night and we all enjoyed dinner and a walk in the bush! lots of great wildflowers out which were nice even in the dusk light.

20.01.2022 Working further into our Woodanilling Mozzie management plan with the Shire of Woodanilling, we treated the main creekline in the township yesterday with a granular larvacide that is only harmful to mozzie and midgie larvae.... no other animals or insects are affected by this product.... so we hope to see a gradual reduction of the use of mozzie fogging in town over time.

18.01.2022 Its a bit early for pig trapping, but will be heading out later this week to see if the automatic feeder had had any luck drawing pigs in... at this point the gate is left wired open to encourage them in....its step by step to trap this crafty species!

14.01.2022 Successful pig trapping field day yesterday. Thank you to those who attended and now have a good grasp on how trapping can help manage their feral pigs, and how to erect the trap available to the community. Thank you also the the Palace Hotel for some fabulous last minute catering! Is a wee bit early for trapping successfully, but pigs are active at this site, so will see what the next few weeks bring!
