Suggestions Plant beans, corn, celery, lettuce, beetroot seed or seedlings Tomato’s in pots and protected for a few more weeks Flowers Petunia, marigolds, phlox, sweet pea, salvia, And many more

08.01.2022 Recent projects We started back Monday last week So it was hard to get back into it and the first week was a challenge as we had to split up on seperate sites. (Only 1 gardener allowed) covid restrictions ... But we are back This week we had a great challenge building a large pergola for the local hardware store. And a challenging week with the weather. But it was great getting back out there on the tools. There is some very overgrown gardens to get on top of.

07.01.2022 Last weekend, I’m trialling out planting mushrooms outside in straw, so I’m keen to see how that works out. I have also tried my first mushroom logs. I have been fascinated about learning about growing mushrooms and seeing the different ways to grow them. ... 06.01.2022 This week We finished off the nursery project at whittlesea hardware Getting the new nursery details on the first stage. ... So mowing and a lot of planting out of some nice plants ready for summer. We are still In restrictions with only one person per site, but I think we are finally getting caught up. With luck Monday we can start working together and get back on top of the jobs. Get ready to plant out your tomatoes in the next few weeks. Plant out bean, peas, corn and beetroot seeds And lots of summer vegetables and flowers, With a bit of rain this weekend it will be a great time to plant out seedlings. Low covid numbers today and I hope we are all staying well and healthy. Getting out in the garden us a great way to connect with nature and great for you physical and mental health. Happy gardening. Tips Soak your beans peas and corn the day before planting this will help speed up germination. A small amount of garden lime will help with legumes as well. Also dolomite lime on tomatoes will help with bottom end rot as it add calcium to the soil.
