09.01.2022 A Saturday well spent inland of Cairns - up the Gillies Range (263 corners + 800 m elevation change in only 19 km of road), checked out Lake Eacham (will return on a weekday - colour of the water is breathtaking) and Lake Tinaroo (oh to have a ski boat!), then drove the Edith Track, taking our time, stopping to swim in rainforest streams, where the only sounds are rainforest birds and flowing water running over rocks. As always, getting out into nature is bliss for the soul.
