17.01.2022 Return clients Photobee were looking at moving from their mall tenancy to a street tenancy in the busy shopping strips of Malvern. They engaged WAH Design to once again take on the design and detailing works as well as the tendering for build and installation. It was a joy to work with the Photobee crew and see our design come to life with the incorporation of new clean unitary lines themed around photo frames and mixed with the rustic appeal of the painted brick from the existing ground level tenancy. Overall a great retail design execution on budget and with all the right retail branding appeal to keep existing customers while attract new ones.

15.01.2022 WAH Design applied our retail design and detailing skills to help Swatch with their upgrade to the Swatch Myer Melbourne Kiosk. The completed works look fantastic and have greatly enhanced the kiosks look and feel. The Swatch Group are always a pleasure to work with and results are telling of a great retail installation team.

15.01.2022 Partnering once again with the Swatch Group, for an epic installation project in the Southern Hemispheres largest Shopping Centre. WAH Design implemented our extensive design knowledge into the new Swatch Chadstone concept store. We overcame major challenges with the design and implementation of a 5+ metre tall shopfront. Not only did we have to create it with an original design aesthetic but we also had to appease the weight issues by engineering in light weight materials so that the raised slab structure could safely hold the shopfront in place. The final result was a beautiful shop showcased on arguably the most prominent intersection in the Chadstone Shopping Centre. Proudly this is one of WAH Designs biggest and most beautifully implemented retail design projects.

13.01.2022 We were recently appointed by two of our favourite clients Swatch and Calvin Klein as their twin branded DFO store was in need of an upgrade! WAH Design stepped up to the task right away and got creative with the tired retail space. Our years of retail design expertise were put to good use as we revitalised the store and created a new retail design that refreshed and bolstered the Swatch and CK brands. DUX Studio provided excellent project management and build works in order to make the design a reality. We thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with both the Swatch/CK local and Swiss based Headquarters on this project who were elated with the final result of a simple yet stunning store design that immediately catches the eye.

10.01.2022 Photobee Opens. http://www.wahdesign.com.au/photobee-opens/ We were overjoyed to hear of a very successful opening week for our return clients at Photobee. The feed back from the returning and new customers has been very positive and has re-assured us that the retail brand transition between the old and new store was successful. When executing a store relocation it is imperative to consider how the new design will maintain visits from the existing customers while inspiring visits from new customers. This WAH Design project is a prime example of why good retail design needs to consider the aesthetics, store planning and retail brand management as a whole when developing a functional store design and build execution. Overall a successful retail design project that has left us all feeling very proud.

The co-owners of First Principles approached WAH Design to design and project manage the installation of their new Digital Denim business with its first store opening in the high fashion lane of Little Collins Street, Melbourne. Its always a pleasure to aiding new retailers with our retail design and planning skills, enables us to fully utilise our creativity along with our years of experience.
