The delivery o...f this Yutong D12 to AngloGold Ashanti’s Tropicana Gold Mine, 330kms east-northeast of Kalgoorlie, clocked up a total of 13 hours driving where 443kms of the trip was along corrugated dirt roads. En route to the mining operations offered some exquisite sights to see. Pictured below is the largest city in the Australian outback viewed from above and spotted is the Kalgoorlie Super Pit. At 3.5kms long, 1.5kms wide and more than 600m deep, it is no wonder that the pit looks rather large even from that height of the view!
