There were many thoughtful touches added to enhance our stay and we really appreciated this. The space was very clean and tidy and designed in a way that allowed us to easily keep it clean and tidy too! The surrounding gardens and grass were a great place for the kids to play and explore. We were very close to the town, the beach and the local attractions. I think we spent more time on the balcony over inside. Everything was just so comfortable and cosy!! The house had all the amenities that we needed and was a perfect distance from everything. Far enough from town so we didn't get that weekend noise but close enough to stroll in, a 2 minute walk from the beach and a coffee van! 05.01.2022 A Bush Utopia has a rare open weekend coming up in the first week of September. Recent review: A Bush Utopia A Bush Utopia truly was that and more. Its location about 2.7kms from town, meant that we were able to walk in for coffee or just take exercise around the local area. As a group of four middle-aged couples, we loved the layout of the beautiful home, with the two identical sleeping wings either side of the high ceilinged and spacious kitchen, dining and living room are...a, with its efficient wood fire (and firelighters). The beds were very comfortable with amazing JUST RIGHT doonas. We appreciated the four bathrooms including a couple of spa baths, along with the laundry and bonus toilet. The kitchen was well equipped and functional, so a number of us were able to be preparing, serving or clearing simultaneously. We appreciated the lovely glassware that was at our disposal and the coffee machine was well used. We didnt even get to use the bonus TV/playroom. There was even a bar fridge behind the bar. We were able to spread out at the long dining table and on the very capacious lounge suite. The TV instructions were terrific and wifi was very efficient. There was also an information booklet that was useful. Outdoors, there was an enormous covered deck with a very long table that easily seated us all with room to spare, along with a generous outdoor setting and barbecue, throw rugs were provided for cooler early mornings. The yard with some areas of lawn suitable for boules, and some native bush was appealing and attracted birds. Firewood was plentiful, ready cut and stacked with its own shelter from the rain. There was lighting in the garden at night and in particular, the lighting of the gum tree in the front yard, visible from the dining room, was effective. A Bush Utopia provided us with accommodation that was first class with space enough to find a quiet spot if one wanted to read or relax away from the others. - Kerry Book now on 089 755 3022.
