24.01.2022 This Sunday! - We come to the end of our journey through Daniel, as we look at Daniel 12 together...a passage all about the end, and the comfort of knowing the hope that comes from the one who is king of the end of history. Join us onsite at 6pm!

21.01.2022 Looking forward to meeting together on Wednesday night for Church Family Prayer. 8 - 9pm, in the main church building (entry via the Water Street door). See you then!

20.01.2022 This Sunday we’re beginning a new sermon series - 1 Timothy - a letter that I am convinced is a word in season for us. It is a call to re-think what is at the heart of our lives and our life together. It will call us to reset the heart of our lives on the word of God who is for us - our saviour and our hope! It is a brilliant letter, I can’t wait to start to read it together. Why not read 1 Timothy 1.1-7 to be ready for Sunday? We continue to work hard to ensure that St A...ndrew’s is a COVID-safe place to be. We continue to make provisions in keeping with the current NSW Health guidelines. As such, on Sunday: All meeting spaces will have been cleaned before meetings Physical distancing measures will be in place for seating Masks remain mandatory (and singing remains not possible) Check-in will happen using the NSW QR code Check-in for all services ,for both adults and children, will be via the main Cleveland Street doors and will begin 20 minutes before each service. We thank God for the freedom to meet and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Andrew Rees PS: If you are unable to join us in person, you can join the 10am service, via Livestream. You can find the livestream at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DasMjp67M_o

18.01.2022 It's time to celebrate! After 12 months of construction (and 6 months of separation due to COVID-19) we are incredibly excited to be opening the Building for the Future project on Sunday October 18. The day will be a celebration of God’s kind provision of these new spaces and his faithfulness to us, in this season of separation. It will also be a day of anticipating serving together in God’s mission in the years to come. All are invited to join the celebration. To ensure that... there is room for everyone, there will be 4 identical celebration services across the day (2 with children’s programs). Please use the link below register for one of these as soon as you can. Be assured that we are a COVID-Safe premises and a clear COVID-Safety plan will be in place. This will include observing of physical distancing guidelines, sanitisation stations, face-masks and registration. If you have any questions regarding safety please do contact us. We really cannot wait to be back together and to celebrate! Please register to join us on the day at any of the 4 celebration services. https://standrewswahroonga.org/opening-celebration See more

15.01.2022 Sunday! The comfort and challenege of Daniel continues this Sunday as Josh leads us through Daniel 10-11. Our God is in charge of this whole world - of all we see, and all we can't see as well. We'll hear the wonderful news that Jesus came into our world and defeated Satan and powers of evil by his death and resurrection. Why not read Daniel 10-11 and pray in prepration for Sunday that God would deepen our trust in him as we hear his word, so that when this world overhwlems... us we can know for sure, he is with us and he is good and he is king. Sounds like a great Sunday! Looking forward to sharing in it together. See you Sunday at 6!

05.01.2022 We'd love you to join us on Sundays throughout January. Each Sunday we're asking a big question and seeing the big answer the bible gives. This Sunday (Jan 3) we'll ask the question that we've all probably asked at some stage in our lives: Can we start again? Join us this Sunday (8am, 10am or 6pm) to see whether a new start is actually possible? Dive Deep this Summer!

04.01.2022 As we prepare to open our new building and resume gathering together onsite, we are taking time to refocus and recommit to our shared missions a church. St Andrew's is a church family... ...welcomed by Jesus ...growing by grace... ...declaring his praises ...longing for home Each week we are zooming in on one part of the mission. This week it is being a church that is welcomed by Jesus. Here's a video that captures this part of who we are:

03.01.2022 Dear Church Family, I am looking forward to returning to 'in-person' gatherings this Sunday January 3. We're going to meet at our usual times - 8am, 10am and 6pm. We will be taking care to remain COVID safe and we have also made provision to livestream the 10am service for those who are unable to be at St Andrew's in person.... Entry will be via the main Celeveland Street Entrance QR code check-in in will be required as you enter (assitance available!) We will be physical distanced, but face masks are strongly recommended Sadly there will not be congregational singing. I'd love to welcome the new year with you. We will be asking the question - Is a genuine new start actually possible? 8am - Holy Communion 10am - with programs for for Pre-school and Primary school 6pm - night church NB: All of 10am church are welcome (No Week A or B - come one, come all!) For those away, or unable to come, you can join the 10am livestream by clicking the link below. See you on Sunday! Andrew Rees https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx06t_VDi3wNIduGh3GOG6w

02.01.2022 Dear Church Family, Re: church tomorrow - Sunday January 3 This morning the NSW Government announced changes to the COVID restrictions for Sydney:... Mandatory masks for indoor venues A cap of 100 people (adults and children) While we had always planned to ask everyone to wear a mask, the cap on numbers means that it is now difficult to have our 10am church service in person as planned, which also affects the setup for the 8am service (as we will need to have the church setup for live-streaming). Given the short notice of these changes the new restrictions have necessitated changes to our plans for tomorrow: 8am - Online Church (via St Andrew’s Live YouTube Channel) 10am - Online Church (via St Andrew’s Live YouTube Channel) 6pm - in person church in the new church hall I sincerely apologise for yet more changes. It is a real disappointment not to be able to meet in person tomorrow morning. We will now turn our attention to thinking about the best way to approach our church gatherings for the remainder of the summer. Thank you for your patience, I would really appreciate your prayers for wisdom as we continue to navigate an ever changing landscape - seeking to love the church family and our city well. Please do join us online tomorrow morning, or in person tomorrow night. Andrew Rees
