24.01.2022 Tomorrow is our first Waikerie Market 7th March 2020 and my first time as RWCC Waikerie Market Manager my name is Pauline I hope I do a good job as Jenni has done .Everyone can find us at the Civic Lawns up near the Library and round a bout from 9.00 am_ 1.00pm so come and have a browse at all the Variety of stalls there will be JJ Kendall he will be bringing his Forge ,Kidz clothing ,cards, Enjo, Pure romance products, AK Furniture, R&F Skincare, Dried fruit, Love button&co, Homemade Pasties &S Rolls, homemade baking goods, Thai food, BBQ( Little Athletic Club,) Coffee Van plus lots more to see so hope to see you come and check us out .To all who is travelling over the long weekend please take care and drive safe.

23.01.2022 Today was our first Waikerie Markets for 2020 ,firstly I would like to apologize to the stall holder's for being half an hour late, wants Jenni got me going I think I did ok. We had 25 stall's and was lovely to meet everyone , also there was really yummy food stalls to.so a big thank you to all who came today .These are some photo's from today's market.

Get away from the cold in Adelaide and other chilly places on Sunday and get along to our market at Waikerie - only 1.5 hours from Adelaide and one hour from the Barossa. Enjoy the offerings or just relax along the river... There's plenty going on including: -Food stalls... Thai, Spuds and More, Donuts, Hot Chips/gravy, Fish n' Chips, roast rolls, hot dogs, etc and fruit and veg and more... -Waikerie Scouts are cooking the barbecue (come for an egg and bacon sandwich for brekky/brunch) -Have a chat to the lovely ladies about the Waikerie Flower Show and get your plants ready to enter the show. -See James the Magician Travelling Show -Trick Acoustic singing some tunes -Glitter Tattoos and 2 playgrounds for the kids -Plenty of stalls with a wide variety of offerings Come along and enjoy some country hospitality! 14.01.2022 In our 27 year history we have never had to cancel a festival. Due to the current situation with COVID-19 the Australian Government recommendations on keeping n...on-essential public gatherings to less than 100, the Riverland Rock n Roll Festival Committee have decided to cancel the Riverland Rock n Roll Festival for 2020 in Waikerie SA. It has taken awhile for this message to go out because we (as a committee) wanted to personally speak to James from the Fender Benders, Joe from the Honkey Tonk Rockers, DJ Ron and our sound operator Anthony Tenace, to discuss this very stressful situation that has really affected them and their families. Our heart goes out to you guys and I really appreciated our conversations. Also over the week the committee has spoken to the Waikerie Hotel/ Motel, Waikerie Gliding Club, Kirriemuir Motel and the Waikerie Holiday Park and they have all agreed to refund our rock n rollers deposits, due to this unusual situation. We are very proud of their community spirit in this hard time. Money for the tickets will also be refunded. The Rock n Roll show on Thursday 30th April at Moorook has also been cancelled due to the Australian Government recommendations for COVID-19. 13.01.2022 Hi this is our line up of stall holders so far for Waikerie Markets 7th March 2020 .We have RWCC Coffee van, Little Athletics BBQ, homemade pasties and Sausage rolls, cards, Photography, Annies kids clothing, A&K furniture, Pure romance (bath & beauty ), LeReve Products, Turmeric products, Bric& brac and Love Button& co, Coles Country crafts furniture and JJ Kendall blacksmith. So keep booking in your stalls .

13.01.2022 For people interested in having a stall at any stage of 2020 ,our profile picture has all the dates for 2020. Stalls are $20 for 3x3m plus $10 for insurance if you don't have your own if you do I need a copy of currency . Food stalls must have and provide their Food Business Number. The market starts at 9am and finishes at 1pm. Setup is from 7am. We do payment and the one form on the morning of the markets before it starts. To book a stall you just need to let me know asap ...and I will write you down in my bookings book. We are in the process of getting a new phone, so at the moment Facebook is the best way to contact us. See more
