09.01.2022 COVID UPDATE NUMBER 2 Well how quickly things change, but as you have no doubt seen we can no longer leave our houses for the next 6 days. So obviously in line with that physical church will not be happening this week. However because we don't have to leave our house to do livestreaming, there will still be a livestreamed service this Sunday at 9:30.... The link to click on, on Sunday, is https://www.facebook.com/WaikerieUnitingChurch/live We look forward to catching you then. In the mean time all the past live services are there if you would like to rewatch any of them. During these times even though we may not beable to once again physically see each other please remember that we are all just a phonecall or email away. If there is anything you want to talk about or you are just need to hear another voice then please call someone. Take this time to call someone and check up on them and see how they are going, but most of all take this time to relax and pray with God, read the Bible and get back into the Word if that is something that you have been struggling to get time for. Psalm 62 1Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. 2Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. 3How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down this leaning wall, this tottering fence? 4Surely they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. b 5Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. 6Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 7My salvation and my honor depend on God c ; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 8Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. 9Surely the lowborn are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath. 10Do not trust in extortion or put vain hope in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them. 11One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: Power belongs to you, God, 12and with you, Lord, is unfailing love; and, You reward everyone according to what they have done.
08.01.2022 We welcome you in Jesus glorious name to our Sunday morning Service. Appologies for some of the hiccup's during the service, which are due to a new system being put in place. His blessing be upon you as you are given true hearing with faith :)
08.01.2022 Welcome to todays service.
05.01.2022 Hi all, as you have no doubt heard there have been restrictions placed on us that affects how we will be able to run church for the next few weeks. The main issue that will change what we are able to do is that we are goi g back to a 1 person per 4 square metres rule. What this means for us is that we can now only have 20 people in the main church room and 20 people in the hall at any time. So while we are still able to have Church this Sunday, we are restricted to how many ...can attend. What we are proposing is that if you are able to watch the live stream from home then please do so for the next couple of weeks. We would like to reserve the spots in the church for those that don't have access to the livestream and those running the service. If you are on the roster for something but feel you may be in the vulnerable group and don't feel that you should attend then please let us know and we will work it out. As usual if you are feeling unwell then please stay away. We pray that these restrictions will be short and that we can get back to seni-normal soon. Please contact Darian or one of the elders if you need to chat or have any questions or concerns.
