25.01.2022 Uniform presentations today. 10 WA kids were selected for AOST and AODS in 2020. We are so proud. Each sailor worked hard and consistently at Nationals to achieve this. Sadly this year travel and the cancellation of events means their anticipated international experience will not be possible. Wear your Australian uniforms with pride!

24.01.2022 2021 Australian Optimist Championships- Cancelled Due to the ongoing border and distancing restrictions around the Covid-19 pandemic AIODA have made the difficu...lt decision to cancel the 2021 Australian Championship planned to be held at Fremantle Sailing Club in January 2021. To ensure that our WA members do not miss the opportunity to attend a Nationals in their home state we have opted to move the rotation back a year so that the January 2022 Australian Championship will be held in Perth. AIODA are continually monitoring health guidelines as they are announced and are exploring options with the intention of hosting a National Level event at a date later in 2021 which may also of the basis for representative team selection.

Fremantle Sailing Club supported by Western Australian International Optimist Dinghy Association (WAIODA) will be hosting a three-day coaching clinic during the July School Holidays in preparation for the Optimist National Championships.
