23.01.2022 Dear Members and Friends, On behalf of the Board of Management, Board of Trustees, Management and staff, I sincerely thank you all for your support over the past 12 months; and in particular since our forced closure earlier this year, in March 2020. What a year 2020 has been! One thing we can all be proud of, is that as a community, we have remained resilient. And we will continue to find new ways to get through this pandemic together. ... As you would all know, community sporting and social clubs were hit quite hard by COVID-19. However, thanks to your understanding and continued participation and support, we managed to successfully reopen both the Club and 1934 Ristorante. Whilst it was a tough year, we are so proud to be able to share some positive highlights: - Installation of our Pizza Oven and pasta making facilities (Thank you Lotterywest!); - Some much-needed renovations to 1934 Ristorante; - Updates to our Pool playing area; - Complete renovation of our Darts playing facilities; - Introduction of our monthly regional dining experiences; and - The welcoming of some wonderful new team members. Without the loyal support of our members and sponsors, we could not have made it through this difficult period, so a sincere thank you to you all for supporting our endeavour in remaining Inspired by our Traditions, as we continue to share our beautiful culture with the wider Western Australian community. As the oldest Italian Club in the world still owned by its members, we are very proud to have reopened; and we ask that as a community you continue to support our beautiful Club by frequenting the many themed events, pop in for a drink or bite at our members Bar, arrange your next function with us, or simply book a table with your family and friends at 1934 Ristorante. Whatever the occasion, your support is greatly appreciated. Just take note of our operating hours during the Xmas period! As we come to a year’s end and head into the festive season, we reflect on what is really important; and that is love and affection, amongst our family and friends. Take the time to enjoy the festive break with your loved ones and most importantly, reach out to someone who may be experiencing a tough time, to let them know you care. 23.01.2022 The history of the WA Italian Club began on a day in September 1934, when a group of Italians living in Perth and surrounding areas met at the Casa degli Italiani di Perth. The meeting, convened by the Italian vice-consul ‘mediante invito diretto a tutti i connazionali’ 1, took place in the Club rooms situated in Aberdeen St.

15.01.2022 To protect our Members, their guests, and our staff, the Club will re-open on Wednesday 10 February as per normal trading hours: Wednesday and Thursday 11am to 5pm (Except for Pool & Dart Competition Nights) Friday 11am to 6pm Saturday 10am to 5pm... The following restrictions will be in place: Access to the Club will be possible only from the car park entrance at the rear of the building. Mandatory wearing of a face mask when entering the Club at all time. Mandatory QR code scanning using the SafeWA app or completing the manual contact tracing registers located at the entrance of the Club and 1934 Ristorante. Consumption of all food and beverage must be whilst seated only. Members can come to the bar to order food and drinks, but you must return to a seat to consume. Thank you in advance for your cooperation over the next week or so, and we look forward to welcoming Members back to the Club. We will continue to provide you with any updates should circumstances change.

It was a beautiful celebration of Italian cuisine with a main focus on the quality of products, the variety and richness of the territories of the Italian peninsula and on the health properties of the Mediterranean diet.
