25.01.2022 Wesley and Scout have been watching the BOM . They regret to inform you that the first race in the Juniors Sandgroper Series in Bunbury has been Cancelled . Wes...ley and Scout feel that our future champions and future world title holders wouldn’t have much fun in winds that could blow them to Brunswick , so we will reschedule for another time . Depression for bringing down the coffee Van, Cockburn Volunteer Sea Search & Rescue, @rockingham Search and Rescue, Rob DiGiuseppe for bringing down your boat and skippering it... @Adam Fisher, @Jenna Allen for skipping our WAZA Boat without you all we couldn't have hosted an amazing event. 12.01.2022 @wazaoutriggers ... Downwinders are fun & scary all at the same time, you never know what’s going to happen out on the ocean & sometimes things don’t always go to plan & unfortunately our OC6 crew along with Fremantle Outrigger Canoe Club both missed the start of the long course by 10 or so minutes but that didn’t stop them from getting out there, having fun in the waves & smashing out the 18kms. It was a 1st time race for Hayden Russell (S4) & 2nd Downwinder for our U16 jnr @xavier amazing mahi guys. Well Done to our 2 singles paddlers who did both short & long courses Izrayl & Hayley you both smashed it. Shout out to our support crew & our volunteers that offered their services to help out with this event. 03.01.2022 MISSION - Sanding, Painting, Sanding Painting, Sanding etc! ROCC’s Waka/Canoe maintenance project finally nearing completion. ROCC’s Waka’s Heading back to Perth from Woodridge today.... THANK YOU Jamie Clement for helping the club out. Without the use of your shed and your painting skills it would not have happened. ROCC’s Hibiscus Waka/Canoe is now painted. The Enforcer has been Enforced . New foam seats are the next on the list. Luxury! is coming our way Awesome to see these WAKA’s getting some well deserved TLC .
