19.01.2022 First week of summer and it's a HUGE one here at Wake House... >Friday Sun.SET session with live music 6pm-9pm > Saturday CA$H FOR TRICKS 5PM-7pm get here early! > Finish the weekend off with our coastal good vibes at Sunday Sesh with the Good Form DJ's kicking off 2pm till 6pm... Couple of changes to our public schedule this week due to private bookings... > Wednesday 02DEC - no beginner speed, we start at 12.30noon for 'General Riding' till sunset. > Saturday 05DEC - we stop early at 5pm for the competition / come watch! > Sunday 06 DEC - cable stops at 5pm for a private group. Don't forget the Lakeside Cafe is open from 7am for coffee and food ALL DAY.

08.01.2022 While the kids are wakeboarding, usually the dads & grand-dads sit and stare up at the cable ski machine. You can see their minds ticking over, interested in how it all works. The cable ski system was invented & innovated by this man, Mr Bruno Rixen. Whilst we never had the opportunity to meet with him personally, we certainly are grateful for what Bruno has given our community worldwide. As 1 of only 8 cable wakeboarding systems in Australia, Mackay is certainly lucky to h...ave such a facility that makes wakeboarding, kneeboarding and skiing accessible to all. What a legacy... RIP Bruno Rixen

To contribute, simply put together a hamper of goodies or just donate ONE ITEM and drop it off to us at the wake park (big silver bucket on reception desk) by Wednesday 9th December. We will then deliver the Christmas cheer to the Mackay Women's Centre by Friday 11th December.... Wondering what to include?
