13.01.2022 Wednesday we held our first Junior clinic for the term. There were 15 registered in the first session and 12 registered in the second session, including 5 girls. Thank you to our volunteers, Loretta, Debbie, Marian, Joy and Geraldine.... Geraldine commented afterwards; "Today was my my first experience with the Kids Clinic. It was very satisfying to watch the 27 children enjoying achieving small gains towards learning the basics of this wonderful game of golf. I look forward to helping out next Wednesday. 02.01.2022 Our Wakehurst Major Pennants team had a very strong 5 to 2 win on Sunday against Asquith. This followed a loss to them last week. As it turned out we missed qualification into the semi finals by half a point. Congratulations to Asquith who won the group. Winners for Wakehurst were Andrew Sutton, Captain Brett Mason, Greg Chadwick, Joe Elliott and Dale Tapper.... Dale also qualifies for an undefeated medal, with Brett missing out on a technicality, due to a missed game. So well done to all and special thanks to the caddies that gave up their time for the club Also we'll done to Ray Martin for being the "caddymaster".
