25.01.2022 Great work from Laura Judson and Emily Horstead who helped at the recent Wakehurst girls Cricket clinic. They assisted the professional coaches in Saskia Horley and Mikaela Turik all day and were an amazing help. All part of our Manly for Manly Community program #bleedblue

21.01.2022 Another quality Quest Events Play in the Day for the Manly Warringah Waratahs with Men’s 1s and 2s ontop and wins in M3s and M5s. Joel Foster and Jack Edwards h...it twin hundreds as part of a 240 2nd wicket partnership to steer 1s to 5/350. 70s to Tom Kaye and Logan Weston, as well as a half century to skipper Andrew Jamieson led 2s to a big score before an early declaration led to 2 wickets before close of play. M3s had a fantastic 86 run win mainly thanks to an amazing 92* off 75 balls from Zach Trewartha, well supported by Max Webber (74) and wickets shared across the bowlers. Dom Wheeler was the lone bright spark for the 4s batting lineup with 78, however when heat stopped play St George were 3 runs in-front on D/L, and we never got back on. 5s has another great win with a half century to Jack Melchiore and Darcy Fleming topping the heart out of the Saints top order. W3s weren’t able to finish the regular T20 season off with a win, bowled out for 62 with Mia Waddington carrying her bat in a great return from injury, but it just wasn’t enough runs to trouble the Ghosts #bleedblue See more

13.01.2022 Another top Quest Events Play in the Day with W2s and Brewers recording great wins, and 1s brining home a Win and a Loss in their T20 double header. Mikaela Tur...ik was the star in W2s with an amazing 8/16 including a hat trick against Penrith. Charlie Camburn then combined with Mikaela with the bat to get the win. Brewers had great win after posting 191 with the bat thanks to multiple contributions with the bat. There were a few hairy moments but an 18 run win. Men’s 1st Grade got the day off to a great start with a big win over St George thanks mainly to an amazing 116* off 55 balls from Ollie Davies. However we were completely outclassed in the 2nd match against North Sydney, suffering a big 9 wicket loss to end our T20 season #bleedblue See more

It was a marathon 259 ball stay at t...he crease and included 14 boundaries and 5 sixes, all in oppressive 40 degree heat. 09.01.2022 A great day at Lionel Watts today. 54 girls in 5 groups enjoyed clinics from Sydney Thunder’s Saskia Horley and Manly’s Mikaela Turik. Thanks Saskia and Mikaela for getting the cricket season underway for our Wakehurst girls and some new faces too. Thanks also to Laura Judson and Emily Horstead for helping out.
