17.01.2022 Happy New Year to all the Wakehurst families! Here's some of our wonderful families from this year's U8s, U10s & U12s recently applying a top soil to the Wakehurst fortress in preparation for whatever 2021 brings... hopefully plenty of rugby!

16.01.2022 Wakehurst rugby are kicking off the 2021 season with beach touch this Tuesday 19th, 7pm at North Narrabeen and we are looking to grow our club after a successf...ul 2020 season, if you know anyone interested or have played soccer or league and would like to give rugby a go come along, if you played rugby at school or played grade or rep rugby and would like to have another season with a social and friendly club come along ,we are looking at a colts side (17 to 21 and under)and senior sides, with all our junior teams from under 6’s to under 18’s, we are also keen to have a ladies 7’s or 10’s team with Wakehurst paying costs involved , any ladies are welcome to come to the beach touch at Narrabeen Call or text 0417677758 Hit the like button and spread the word and give the thumbs up if you’re coming

06.01.2022 Just a quick rundown on what’s happening with Wakehurst subbies, with the Covid regulations we could not have a presentation night so we thought we would hold i...t in late January or early February to kick the season off( the best player award is a bit of a shock???), Geoff is keen to do beach fitness training in January either Tuesday 19th or Thursday 21st depending which night suits the most people for a couple of weeks and proper training to start early February , the Foxtel 7’s ( or Northern Beaches 7’s) is on again in February at Wakehurst so get a few mates[male & Female] together and enter a team when the time comes. The coming season we are hoping to get two subbies teams and a colts team so start getting onto your mates to come and join Wakehurst, colts is 17 to 21 and under and we should get some of this year’s under 18’s players to join with us. We are keen to get a ladies 7’s or 10`s team up and running to play on Saturday’s along side the men’s team, so if you know anyone that may be interested let us know, a couple of Wakehurst subbies are keen to coach and Wakehurst will pay all fees associated, 7`s rugby is the fastest growing sport in Australia There will not be any international travel untill late 2021 so come and support Wakehurst this year, keep Covid safe and hopefully this latest hiccup will blow over in a couple of weeks See more

Wakehurst rugby Seniors are... starting off with beach fitness training and swim on Tuesday 19th January at 7pm at North Narrabeen( if no covid restrictions) all colts & subbies players welcome and official training starting in February at Wakehurst.
