21.01.2022 The NSW Government would like to hear about your experience as a business owner affected by the 201920 bushfires via a brief survey. The aim of the survey is to understand how businesses impacted by the 201920 bushfires are recovering, what support they are accessing and where additional assistance is needed. The results will help identify future responses for supporting businesses during a disaster and we value your feedback as a business owner in a bushfire-affected area.... The survey will take approximately 6 minutes to complete. To complete the survey, please click on the link below https://nswbushfire.syd1.qualtrics.com//form/SV_0B8W3L5q27

04.01.2022 This week our Walcha Mayor, Councillors and Executive journeyed around the Shire for a cuppa with community. It was a great two days with all that attended. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and the great feedback and ideas raised. Common topics included road condition, culverts, sighting distances, safety and weed control. Council staff spoke about work completed in each area, the feedback and action plan from our past survey results report, as well as acknowledging the ...unprecedented era of grant funding. The annual tour is the highlight of our community engagement calendar (and a guaranteed way to put on an extra kilo or so with the delicious home baked cookies, cakes, scones and slice)! #community #walcha #localgovernment #engagement #councilontour Picture: Council crew, hosts and guests at Brockley Park Tour stop No.5 of 7!
