24.01.2022 31/3/2020 Update: Walch Optics’ workshop and film lab will remain open for essential services. Our business customers can continue to access goods and repairs, calibrations and equipment servicing. Our showroom and repair workshop will be available for our customers who require essential supplies and services.

24.01.2022 As COVID-19 spreads throughout Australia Walch Optics has increased sterilisation, distancing, and cleaning procedures at our facility. We will follow advice and instructions from the relevant authorities as it becomes available. To this end, we will remain open and available to our customers for as long as we are able to comply with regulations.

16.01.2022 Walch Optics is moving! In April Walch Optics will be moving to 197 Harrington Street, opposite St Mary’s (cnr Harrington & Patrick St.) Our repair workshop will have more space and we will have a showroom for products we sell. We will no longer keep display stock for new cameras and accessories, but can order anything you need. As for second hand cameras and lenses we will continue to buy and sell them, all with warranty. We will also now be developing and scanning film, at good quality and price!

14.01.2022 We have now moved, and operating from our new premises at 197 Harrington Street.

13.01.2022 We’ve been at it a while but are now proud to publicly announce that we’re fully set up to with two scanners, and a very healthy C41 machine! We develop and scan in-house both colour, and black and white 35mm and 120 at $20 per roll including high quality scans. So bring in your films!
