21.01.2022 The Legislative Council Weekly Bulletin, which sets out the Government’s proposed agenda for the sitting week, is now available at http://bit.ly/Weekley_Bulletin_35_November_2020. Following the handing down of the State Budget on 8 October 2020, debate on the Budget Papers will take precedence in the House over all other orders of the day for the next four sitting days. The debate on the Budget Papers is wide-ranging and provides an opportunity for Members to speak generally... about the Government’s activities in their electorates. 19.01.2022 Today the Leader of the House will move a motion of condolence on the passing of former Member the Honourable Kevin Leahy. Mr Leahy was a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the seat of Northern Rivers until the electorate was abolished. Mr Leahy was also a Member of the Legislative Council representing the Mining and Pastoral Region in the thirty-sixth Parliament. 15.01.2022 On 19 November the Joint Select Committee on Palliative Care in Western Australia tabled its final report in the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council. The report details the current progress of palliative care in WA, with particular reference to recommendations made by the Joint Select Committee on End of Life Choices in August 2018, the delivery of services arising from funding announcements in 2019 and 2020, and palliative care in regional and remote areas.
