Meaning that we will be taking bookings for attendance 4. Recording Attendance We have prepared an electronic form to collect all the required details of each person that attends each Playgroup session. As per your registered booking. To avoid signing in and sharing pens. Please keep in touch, and send us your questions so that we can support you to get back to face to face meeting in the coming weeks. 12.01.2022 GOONIMOO PLAYGROUP UPDATE With the NSW Government restrictions having changed on 1 June 2020, we would like to provide an update on Goonimoo Playgroups progress related to returning to face to face Playgroup. Whilst the restrictions have been relaxed, these do not apply to NSW playgroups just yet. Goonimoo staff are working from the office and providing the Playgroup community with a vast variety of activities to complete from home via Australia Post and local delivery, base...d on early Childhood learning and development. Each fortnight the activities promote a new area of learning for children to complete at home that include all the materials and resources to complete. We have had playdough, name recognition, reading, painting, collaging and many more exciting activities that have promoted many of themes and days of significance that we would have normally celebrated and acknowledged in face to face Playgroup. We acknowledge there have been a number of questions about returning face to face and we share your excitement to get back to playgroup. Our key priority is ensuring that all of our children and families can return as safely as possible and that we have a plan to address hygiene requirements and venue considerations. We are working rapidly on a Return to Playgroup and look forward to sharing more on this with you shortly. In the meantime, we will continue to deliver our playgroup community fortnightly activity packs for the remainder of term 2 until such time we can return. Term 3 updates will be advised soon. Goonimoo encourages families to reach out to us, needing support, ideas or activities to do at home. 09.01.2022 GOONIMOO PLAYGROUP UPDATE SERVICES POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Due to the increasing COVID -19 Government restrictions and the vulnerability of our community as we face a second wave of this horrible virus we have decided that we would put our families and children as our main PRIORITY and remain closed until such restrictions are lifted and the Playgroup environment is much safer, fun and enjoyable for all our families to attend. ... Whilst we were so close to seeing a return, it is very sad that we have had to make this announcement to remain closed. We hope that you can all understand the COVID-19 planning and risk management action plans that have gone into making a return and understand the importance of our decision to keep our playgroup community safe, healthy and happy. We also want our children visiting Playgroup to have a fun and positive experience at Playgroup In the meantime Goonimoo encourages families to reach out to us, needing support, ideas or activities to do at home We will continue to monitor Government restrictions and keep you informed of any updates or changes until we meet face to face. 01.01.2022 A well earned thanks to some of our staff from St Josephs Primary School. Thank you so much to the staff from the AMS who visited the school this week to educate the students on the importance of hand hygiene. The Infants students certainly enjoyed the song about washing our hands on Monday morning. Pictured are the Primary students with Deb and Loretta on Wednesday morning.
