06.01.2022 A current affair tonight

02.01.2022 Hi, I'm Rebecca and this is my Dad, Brian. Brian is a farmer/grazier in Outback NSW and as you could imagine quite set in his ways (you know what I mean)!! So h...e was quite sceptical when I gave him the Ezijak, he could not believe the Ezijak would be tough enough to handle life out here. Now Dad has one for just about every piece of equipment with tyres on it such as his Toyota table top work ute, gooseneck, fuel trailer and of course Mum's Prado. Brian skites that the Ezijak Rattle gun loosened the rusty wheel nuts off his old fuel trailer and then the Ezijak lifted the trailer with 2000 litres of diesel on board. Mum (Kay) went to town for supplies the other day on her desolate black soil road, ran over a roo and got a bone through her tyre. No probs - Mum had the Ezijak out and the tyre changed in no time at all. If she had waited for help she'd still be on the side of the road. Check out other stories on our website www.ejijak.com.au Be smart like Brian and Kay don't be left stranded on the side of the road. Take advantage of our special offer See more

02.01.2022 CALL TO TAKE WALGETT STUDENTS TO STUDY IN LIGHTNING RIDGE There's a call for Walgett high pupils to be transported to a nearby town in response to ongoing issue...s at the school. The Shire Council voted unanimously at yesterday's meeting to explore possible funding for a bus service for students from Walgett Community College to attend Lightning Ridge High. The Mayor Ian Woodcock says the council's previous attempts to work with the New South Wales Department of Education to resolve issues haven't been successful. The Department of Education says it's unable to respond to the councillors' decision until it receives a proposal from the council. Despite major upgrades at the school, Mayor Woodcock says money won't fix the problems it's facing. "There's got to be other things that have got to be put into place," Cr Woodcock says. "We have some very big problems here at different times as far as some of the families are concerned. "Some people nearly bust themselves to try and earn enough to send their kids away to school, which is becoming very expensive. "
