16.01.2022 Hi To All. It's that time of year again - remember to change your smoke alarm batteries. Also start thinking about your AC's filters and heaters going into winter - don't wait until the last minute when it is cold.

10.01.2022 Hi To All. This hot weather is still with us. Just a reminder to keep those AC filters clean, and if you can run the AC at 26 or 27 instead of 25 you will save $$$$$$$$$ especially at night. Also if you run a ceiling fan at the same time it will distribute the cool air more effectively through the room and of course the cooling effects of moving air are increased. Don't try and run the AC at very low temps as this only burns $$$ in operating costs as the AC can never achiev...e low temps of around 18 on hot days , and so it runs continuously, an RAC is exactly what is stands for - a Room Air Conditioner, not the whole house. Buy a thermometer so that you actually know how hot your house is inside, and as a rule start your AC at a room temp about 30 so that it has a chance to lower the temp before the day gets hot - expecting the room to cool down to 25 in a short time when its already 35+ is expecting a bit too much, and putting it at 18 to make it happen quicker does not work as the AC is already going to be working flat out to get back to 25. 04.01.2022 Hi to all. Well the hot weather is hanging about and the air cons are on. Make sure that your filters are kept clean to maximize their efficiency, do so at least once a month when using them a lot, especially if using for long periods.
