25.01.2022 Darwin has the best sunsets at this time of year, and East Point just north of the CBD is a good place to see it from. If you time it right, there might be a piano being played there too (PS - if you haven't been to Darwin, that's the city across the water in the background. 25.01.2022 Who's been to Threeways?? It's such a legendary place in outback Australia. The roadhouse is at the intersection of 2 main highways, and from there you can go to either Adelaide, Darwin or Townsville. The Threeways Roadhouse has a reputation too, so I just had to get a photo while there #threewaysroadhouse #WarumunguCountry #northernterritory

10.01.2022 Who doesn't like a being on the end of a jetty, waves lapping at the pillars, a few seagulls hanging around, maybe a line over the edge, smelling the sea salt and seeing the sun slowly setting in the west. Now, imagine all that but with some nice relaxing piano tunes floating by - coming from a shiny black upright piano, played by yours truly. 'Jetty Sessions' is going to see the black shiny piano turn up for a hour or so on the end of jetty, somewhere in South Australia. I'...m not going to tell you where exactly (that's going to be a secret while Covid-19 is around) but will tell you the approximate area. Instead of turning up to the jetty, you'll be able to watch it live on your device, or later on via my social media channels. So, without further ado, the next 'Jetty Session' is going to be on Friday the 24th July, at 5-5:45pm, on a jetty somewhere between Port Augusta and Port Broughton, South Australia. 08.01.2022 Who’s been through this ‘gap’? It’s on the southern side of Alice Springs and the road is the main highway... and there is a train line just to my right - that’s where the Ghan train travels through this gap. There is the (dry)Todd River on my left. This place here is my home. I don’t live there anymore (haven’t for a decade) but it’s the place that sorts me out. It levels me and I can see where I’m going when I’m there.... both physically and metaphorically. 07.01.2022 Afternoon... sorry for being a bit absent since my last post, but I’ve been driving a bit.... just from one side to the other of Australia... Adelaide to Darwin. I don’t know why but travel really tickles my brain and my spirit. I also listened to a podcast recently on the spirituality of travel. I think there is something in that. Maybe I’m on a journey. Maybe it’s the way I’m made. Or maybe a bit of both. 03.01.2022 This place looks pretty desolate to those used to the city, but this salt lake is just over 600km north of Adelaide, and to me it's the ideal camping spot... no, not ON the salt lake, as evidenced by some bogged car tracks (I find it sad that people churn up such beautiful places)... but yes, IN the sand-dunes just off to the side. And there are animals galore here too. Just don't show the ones that slide along the ground in the middle of the night please . Beautiful place this Kokatha country. I thought it be fun to hand it over to you though to make up some side story to this photo - give me the best story you can that comes with the photo.... PS. Watch out for an upcoming video of a nice shiny black piano on the edge of such a salt lake, at sunrise - it's coming...
