23.01.2022 If you, like many Australian Businesses, are eligible for the Cash Flow Boosting schemes as part of the COVID-19 stimulus packages, then it is worthwhile considering when you lodge your Business Activity Statements (BAS) for the quarter. According to a recent article (linked below), if you lodge your BAS before the due date and have a payable on your account, your boost credit will go towards settling this account before any amount is refunded. However, if you wait until the... lodgement due date to lodge, the whole credit will be applied as a refund. Lodgement date for the March BAS is 28 April 2020. These include being able to have a picnic, shop for non-essential items and going for a drive, motorbike, jetski or boat ride.
