02.01.2022 NAIDOC Week The Kindy’s learning wall documented our learning of Indigenous Australian cultural. We explored Dreamtime stories, dot painting, Aboriginal symbols and Australian animals and their significance to Indigenous culture. Through connecting Australian animals to Dreamtime stories we were able to understand the importance of the connection between people and the environment. The stories also offered us an opportunity to examine multiple ways stories can be told; through oral language, music and dance.
