24.01.2022 Konnichiwa! Yesterday we finally went public with our documentary Big in Japan. Please like the page and share it with your friends if you think its something youre interested in.

24.01.2022 Big in Japan is now available everywhere! Enjoy!

23.01.2022 One of the characters in our forthcoming fame doco Big in Japan is cross-dressing, heavy metal singing sensation Ladybeard - a charming, enthusiastic, and all round great guy who hails from Adelaide. Now hes got his very own radio show on SBS Pop Asia! http://www.sbs.com.au/popasia/author/ladybeard

23.01.2022 Some stills from our latest job - shooting BTS for Stan's Original Bloom S2!

23.01.2022 Hello friends! Just wanted to let you know about an event we have coming up: a fundraiser for our doco Big in Japan on Friday April 7th at Loop Bar in Melbourne CBD. Wed love it if you could come :)

22.01.2022 If youre kicking yourself for missing MIFF, some brilliant docos will be getting their second wind in Melbourne. Weiner is on at ACMI from September 1st. (I cant wait to see this! The absurd, almost unbelievable, story of NY congressman Anthony Weiner and his cock-ups.) Also Louis Therouxs My Scientology Movie is on at Cinema Nova from September 8th.

21.01.2022 So proud of Ladybeard, one of the stars of our upcoming doco Big in Japan. Hell be on The Project tonight at 6:30PM. Tune in if you like hairy men wearing dresses!

21.01.2022 Konnichiwa Walking Fish friends! Our Big in Japan Documentary crowdfunding campaign is now live, and we need your help! We have just under a month to raise the $25,000 that we need to complete post-production. This is the final hurdle! Once we get these funds we expect to release in October. But if we dont reach our target, we dont receive any of the pledges. For the uninitiated, Big in Japan involves ordinary guy David (along with Lachlan and Louis) moving to Tokyo on an... open-ended mission to get famous. It explores the changing nature of fame and the phenomenon of foreign celebrity in Japan. It really is outrageous just watch our trailer! Our documentary also addresses a serious issue that of social media reshaping the way we present ourselves and interact with the world. We think its time to get real, investigate what drives our impulse to get recognised and provide an alternative discourse to outdated gossip-mag fame. Please help by sharing this around (even if you cant pledge yourself). Pozible link available here: https://pozible.com/project/big-in-japan-documentary

20.01.2022 NEW WORK! We recently helped Deakin Res with a video ahead of their 2019 Open Day. We utilised the voices of current students to communicate the welcoming nature of the community to prospective students. Here are a few grabs.

15.01.2022 Although weve been back in Melbourne since April, we recently went on a trip back to Japan to get some shots, tie up a few loose ends and go on an obligatory trek through the wilderness. Dont get too inspired by our camping attire.

15.01.2022 Were thrilled to be sharing this short documentary that we made for Trinity College, University of Melbourne about the Alamein brothers. We know Ali and Mo well from our college days - theyre some of the kindest and funniest fellas you could ever meet. It was great to get to know their younger brother Hussein as well. As refugees, these guys have undergone hardships and challenges that most of us will never encounter and have worked incredibly hard to become amazing successes (two doctors and one engineer!). Trinity played a big role in giving them a scholarship that helped them go to uni. A huge thank you to the Alameins for sharing their story. Massive respect!

14.01.2022 We cant recommend enough Revolution School, the amazing work of our friend Alex West. Filmed across an entire school year, the series follows teachers and students as one of the poorest performing schools in the state adopts radical new teaching approaches to improve results. Episode 3 is on ABC1 tonight at 8:30, or else watch on ABC iview.

13.01.2022 Besides docos, were in the business of helping brands and organisations create interesting video content for the web. Heres something that we did for The Living Food Project, an urban farm and fermentary based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Enjoy!

Sophys story is part of a series of videos we produced for Trinity College, University of Melbourne exploring the transformative power of scholarships. We feel incredibly privileged to be able to share Sophys story and wish her all the best with future endeavours.

07.01.2022 This article outlines some seriously powerful documentaries that are raising the bar in Australia. Some of them such as Frackman The Movie are available to watch online via VHX.

07.01.2022 A few years ago we made a documentary about the tragic circumstances of some 60,000 international students caught in between two sets of immigration legislation. They were promised that their course would lead to permanent residency, but the Government changed the rules when the system became dysfunctional. Meanwhile, another 30,000 former students who had qualified were told to wait indefinitely as their permanent residency applications were processed, only for the Government to cease the program a few days ago. Some had been putting their future on hold since 2009. Would we treat Australians in the same way?

06.01.2022 Mi Goreng sustained us through our uni days and we still love it, so we were incredibly excited to work with Indomie and Bonbo on a promo video for Indomie TAKES OVER Melbourne This event promises to be tons of fun with some Melbournes most exciting restaurants creating their own spin on the classic noodle dish, for one weekend only in Melbourne.

06.01.2022 Final ep of the two-part mini-series we made with Vice is now up! Thanks to Bridie Shepherd for being such a killer host.

06.01.2022 Its pretty bloody hard for blokes to find true blue mates these days. Heres something Louis directed for VICE and Movember just recently.

05.01.2022 On the eve of the Australian Open, we were fortunate enough to meet and chat to Alex de Minaur, Australias top-ranked male tennis player. At only 21, hes been able to climb the ATP rankings to be 18th in the world. Hes also an ambassador for The Man Cave, an incredible organisation thats helping young boys come to terms with their mental health and makes them question what it means to be a man in todays age. Check out this video we made where Alex opens up about confronting his own demons.

05.01.2022 This list is on point.

04.01.2022 Hey boys and girls, tune into this short piece by Vice about one of the characters we followed in our Big in Japan documentary (yes which were still working on...)
