17.01.2022 Some Australian schools have been offered the opportunity for me to come and deliver my Suicide Prevention presentations to students, and declined. Some have declined due to lack of finances, and when I contacted one school who had encountered a number of suicides recently to let them know that I had obtained the finances from a sponsor, still did all they could to prevent me from coming. I wonder how the parents of these suicide victims will react when they find out their kids may still be alive today except for the incompetence of their school Principal.

14.01.2022 So sad to learn of the tragic deaths of another 5 people in Western Australia including young children. A 20 year old man has handed himself over to Police. There are far too many people taking their own lives and the lives of others due to suppressing their own painful past.

09.01.2022 Reading in the Courier Mail this morning where more students are being found to be carrying weapons into schools. I have been trying for years to get politicians and educators to use my presentation in schools to prevent such things as well as try and prevent suicides and kids being recruited by drug dealers, paedophiles and terrorist groups. I even have a letternfrom Julia Gillard brushing me off when she was Federal Education Minister, before she became Prime Minister. I wonder how long it will be before we start seeing massacres in schools like we have seen in the U.S.
08.01.2022 During the past 14 years I have written 4 books with the most recent being titled :"Without Love I Am Nothing". This book and the others have come about as a result of a journey I have been on that I didn't know I needed to go on. Just a short time before I commenced writing the first book, my life almost ended by my own hand as a result of depression and anxiety that seemed to overwhelm me, and I had no idea how I got to be in this shape. I had been married to Ann for around... 28 years at that time and we had 2 children in Daniel and Kate, and I loved them all dearly. The depression and anxiety however seemed to overwhelm my love for my kids, and that death seemed the only way out. Being a man in his 40's at the time, I found it difficult to seek help as I thought I should be able to handle anything that came my way, so pride became a huge stumbling block for me and most guys I suppose. Thankfully I sought professional help and over several years layers of my life were exposed to eventually reveal that incidents that took place around my childhood were surpressed over many years through alcohol use, pursuing success in careers, and gambling addiction, but eventually my world came crumbling down, as these things were only a band aid, and the real issues would eventually rise to the surface. I am deeply saddned that around 100 Autralian men take their own lives every 17 days, and many women and children do as well. There are more than 40,000 children in Foster Care and Child Protection here in Australia, probably due to the fact that there are many damaged adults out there who can't cope with the responsibilities that come with raising their children. In the USA there were more than 47,000 people who took their own lives in the past 12 months and 70% of these were white males between the ages of 45 to 58. That's a lot of Dad's, Grandfathers Uncles, Brothers, Husbands, Friends etc whose decision to die this way has left many thousands of people behind devastated and wondering why. Perhaps like myself the victims didn't understand why either. There are currently over 600,000 children in Foster Care in the USA, and over 60,000 awaiting adoption. My book and a USB that contains 3 films one of which is myself sharing my whole story, and the PDF and Audio formats of this book would be a great resource for anyone to have in their home as it may just save the life of someone you love and care for. These resources have been developed over several years under the mentorship of a prominent psychologist and endorsed by educators with many years of experience.
