25.01.2022 I know it’s the start of the week... however, this will give you some time to plan a walk doing the Tallebudgera Loop this weekend, in this warm weather start early. http://walkingthegoldcoast.com/maps

25.01.2022 From the snow of Tasmania to hot steamy GC. Summer is well and truly here!! The high tide brings this boardwalk to life, but I would be moving fast if the tide is out!

25.01.2022 Thank you for liking & your engagement for 2017, have a wonderful Chrissy break and may all your wishes come true. Stay safe! You have all made my year. https://youtu.be/ubvYQxTXO3U

23.01.2022 Cool windy but perfect around Rainbow Bay this morning. A few semi silhouette images, before the sun appeared.

21.01.2022 For all of you who love old cars, walking and taking photos.

21.01.2022 Love this gazebo at Laguna Park.

21.01.2022 Last year while overseas, at some point MapMyWalk kicked in. Don’t ask me how, the good thing is I managed to do over a 11 million steps and apparently learnt to walk on water. See if anyone one can beat that!!

20.01.2022 Just a perfect crisp winter morning for a walk.... if you can’t get out today, do it over the weekend.

18.01.2022 Imagine taking a walk here?

18.01.2022 I know not everyone likes Water Dragons, this one took a liking to a ball of string. #waterdragons #reptiles

18.01.2022 Kirra Point looking good this morning. Walked from Point Danger to Palm Beach this morning.

18.01.2022 There a few things in life that I just love and oats is one of them. Having an early winter breakfast at Quest Coffee Roasters, I’m looking forward to the winter where I can go for a walk around the many walking routes around here and have hot oatmeal for brekky.

17.01.2022 102 years! Wow better get out and start walking the GC

17.01.2022 Nothing like the winter sun on your skin.

17.01.2022 Well done! Another happy ending. We certainly need them. Your donations help rescue birds, why not give for Christmas. Go to the Wild Bird Rescues GOLD COAST for details.

16.01.2022 I have walked around Chicago, it’s a beautiful city. Imagine visiting it on St. Patricks Day.

16.01.2022 A new nature walk, must check it out!

16.01.2022 Wow ‘The Cowboy Trail’ another one for the bucket list.

15.01.2022 This guy’s got the right idea, up to his waist in water fishing... on this steamy morning. He spotted me taking a pic, men never mind. It’s a shame I only had my phone. :(

14.01.2022 This winter weather is perfect for walking the GC!

13.01.2022 Goat’s Foot not a particular flattering name, a native dune flower found in many parts of the world. We tread on them without realising how important they are to keeping the dunes together. Next time take a moment and appreciate their role.

10.01.2022 Roll out those lazy hazy crazy days of summer!!!

10.01.2022 Don't forget about the Active & Healthy Program this summer...

10.01.2022 Two cloud Koalas greeting us at sunrise on this second day of summer.

10.01.2022 After all the years I’ve lived on the Goldie, I still have to pinch myself!

09.01.2022 One of those perfect days we had this week. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

09.01.2022 Julia and her partner decided to cycle through an area they hadn't been before. That turned out to be very fortuitous for this young swan. When the family appro...ached Julia saw fishing line trailing from a bird's foot. The poor thing had been hooked by a bait-jig. Swollen and very sore that hook in the joint was a potentially life-threatening injury. This makes one pelican and three swans with fish hook injuries that I've been called to catch in the past 4 days. The first swan was caught, de-hooked and released immediately. Two are in Currumbin Wildlife Hospital recovering after surgery to remove hooks. The peli is still out there and in big trouble. None of the fishers who hooked these birds bothered to call and get them help. It's not complicated. Never fish among waterbirds. Secondly, if you do hook a bird, or see one that's hooked or trailing fishing line, Google 'Bird Rescue in Your Area' and keep the creature in sight until help arrives. This is most important because rescuers can only catch what they can find. See more

07.01.2022 This would be worth a road trip, maybe in the cooler months.

06.01.2022 Beach Bean just one of many native ground cover dune flowers. Take note next time you go for a beach walk. Australian native flowers are delicate and small yet quite beautiful.

06.01.2022 View from Currumbin Bridge.

04.01.2022 It’s just perfect out there!!

04.01.2022 Who would have thought this place existed? Anyone been there? Share your thoughts... who knows it might be your next holiday destination.

03.01.2022 We have lost so much of our Bush land and fresh water ponds, billabongs and lakes here on the GC, unfortunately most of you younger ones have no idea about because you weren’t even born. Growing up at Palm Beach before the M1 was built there were fresh water ponds covered with water lilies. We need to keep and maintain the remnants of what’s left. Please support Black Swan Lake

03.01.2022 Time for work or school, not sure which. Perfect Monday morning. #surfing #ocean

02.01.2022 WOW!! It is still snowing at Ben Lomond Snow Resort, Tasmania with 20-30cm already on the ground! Just amazing given we are 3 days in to Summer! Video: Tasmanian Rover Ski Club

01.01.2022 Posted the wrong image, this is a wide sweep of the boardwalk.
