Walk Talk Taste Margaret River has a very special short tour offer for one day only, with 100% of proceeds going to help keep Margaret River history alive! Learn so much more about Margs in this special two-hour tour of the river and Old Settlement precinct, finishing with billy, damper and more local treats by the campfire. Two sessions are available this Tuesday September 29 - 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.... Tickets are $15 adults, $10 children, all inclusive. Your full ticket price will go to the Margaret River & Districts Historical Society, whose volunteers work tirelessly to develop and maintain the Old Settlement Museum and many other local history projects. This local produce-filled event is generously sponsored by Seven Seas Tea, @margaretriverbakery The Berry Farm and other local businesses. The tour is curated by Walk Talk Taste Margaret River and MR&DHS volunteers and is suitable for families. 05.01.2022 Saturday night’s Evening Tour was extra special for a few reasons. Back in March when we had to shut down, we’d been days away from delivering a long-awaited and carefully planned night out for a local family of eight women. Having to cancel was devastating for us all, but the party declined a refund and vowed to join the tour whenever the future allowed.... Well that evening arrived - and boy it did not disappoint any of us! Fabulous venues, warm and entertaining hosts and a food and cocktail selection to put wide smiles on everyone’s faces. Cousins, aunties, nieces, in-laws - the love in this family group even extended to unrelated Perth guests Jo and Matt who fully embraced the celebratory spirit as honorary members of the mob! And what a joy to see three generations out on the town together - Lillith, Mum Caitlin and Grandma Jenn (who may have been the ringleader!).
