25.01.2022 The power has been restored after a week without, thank you to the Energex workers who travelled up from the Gold Coast to assist our region after Tropical Cyclone Debbie. We were very fortunate that we have had no damage to Wallaby Cottage.....just a clean up of the debris from branches, palm fronds and a muddy pathway which is all done now! 14.01.2022 We often receive enquiries from guests travelling with pets to stay at Wallaby Cottage. We are usually happy to accommodate pets on agreement to the following 5 conditions as the property is not fenced. 1. Your pet must not be left unattended in the cottage. 2. Your pet MUST be house trained. 3. You must supply your pet's bedding.... 4. Your pet must stay off the furniture. 5. Your pet (this obviously applies to dog owners only) must be social with other dogs (we have 2 male German Short-haired pointers). Please note a security deposit of $150.00 is applicable with all pet stays. 08.01.2022 Nice quiet evening to enjoy the view of a good bonfire from the comfort of Wallaby Cottage verandah. The possums are about this evening too!

New updates include the addition of double foldout sofa bed to the queen size ensemble in the large bedroom so we can accommodate small families or twin share travellers, full lounge suite with reclining chair in the living area and a new electric roast/toast and rotisserie oven in the kitchenette.
