17.01.2022 We’ve had to relocate a few of these guys recently. Don’t worry! We don’t hurt them. . They are so sweet to look at but can cause extreme damage to your home, gardens and wildlife, as they feed on pretty much anything that is available. . If your roof void becomes a shelter for a family of possums, prepare for a likely pathway of destruction. They can tear the insulation & ductwork, leave your ceilings stained by defecating & marking their territory with scent glands and urine (which smells pungent and is unhygienic) and as with most pests, carry bacteria and even lice, mites and ticks . . . to name a few.
