22.01.2022 Said goodbye to one of our fav guests this morning. Bennie and Graham have visited us since 2006 in an almost yearly basis, since that time. Bennie calls this her "place of peace". Graham enjoys our summer heat (usually plenty to absorb!) and a bit of golf. Love these guys :) Oh, they come from England by the way! Love their commitment

11.01.2022 COVID 19 Please rest assured we are committed to ensure you have a relaxing (and healthy) break here at Wallaby Ridge.... Things have changed so quickly, so we thought an update (a bit wordy sorry!) was necessary. So, as much as we dislike this new social norm, we will be unable to shake your hand upon arrival and departure, we hope this doesn’t offend! We will adhere to the current recommended frequent washing hands, coughing into your elbow, no hand shaking and keeping a 1.5m distance from others. We hope you respect these recommendations too. We already provide a very clean environment, and your accommodation is optimally socially distanced! Any public surface areas will receive extra sanitisation during this time above our normal rigorous routine. Could we ask you to bring your own board games at this time instead of using ours If you want to have a break but worry about crowds, be assured we only have a small retreat anyway, so crowds are never a problem, but Booking mid week means even less likelihood of this as well. We are a registered with Scenic Rim council for food handling so rest assured we are up with hygiene standards and particularly now, we will ensure extra attention is paid above and beyond what is required with sanitization of surfaces etc. So, if you want to forget about things for a while please call and book for an opportunity to enjoy the Scenic Rim, our beautiful views and friendly wallabies, you know where we are and please book direct keep the $ in Australia and local!
