25.01.2022 To all our players, supporters, sponsors The Wallan Football Netball Club committee is very pleased to confirm the reappointment of ‘Nugget’ Daniel Nolan as our Senior Coach for 2021. For the past five seasons Nugget and the coaches laid out a foundation for what we believe would have been a very successful 2020 season after unfinished business from 2019 and we look forward to that being rolling into 2021. Once our town opens up again we will look to starting social events an...d general engagement. In particular we thank all of you for your ongoing support, players, sponsors and supporters and are thinking of our football/netball club community in what has no doubt been a very difficult time for many. We look forward to proactively being able to support each other and please do not hesitate to reach out if our community can assist. Danny did a fantastic job with the team in 2019 and become a much loved and respected coach for the women, and now after a crazy Covid 2020 year he is ready to jump into an exciting 2021 season. 09.01.2022 Footy Announcement: Great news, we will be fielding a "Clubbies Team" again in 2021. Lot's of fun and great blokes. The boys played in the Grand Final last year and continue to support the club. We are looking for more people to be involved on game days, so please let the club know if you are interested. There is even the possibility of some home games being played on Friday nights, under our new lights.

02.01.2022 Practice Matches Great weekend of practice matches for football and netball. On Saturday we were welcomed by our hosts Kilmore for the football and Seymour for the netball. Today we welcomed Albanvale for the women’s football. Thank you to everyone who helped organise these matches and to everyone who helped make both days a great success. A reminder to all players to bring their own named water bottles to training
